Commitment to Sustainability

We recognise our responsibility as an electrical cable manufacturer to actively contribute towards a sustainable future and reduce our carbon footprint.

Our dedication to sustainability extends throughout our operations; from product design to manufacturing, packaging, warehousing and beyond..

We are committed to ensuring the principles of the Vinyl Councils Best Environmental Practices (BEP)
by using certified PVC suppliers whom conform to Best Practice Guidelines for Life Cycle of PVC Building Products.

We separate all reclaimable waste from production or end of life products into single type
recyclable materials which are then sent to approved recyclers to reuse in secondary use products

Implementing compound changes (where possible) for certain cables
such as changing from PVC to X90 compounds to reduce Carbon due to the reduction in power generation

We monitor our water, waste and electricity usage through the ACA to ensure we are:

– Reducing our liquid wastes

– Reducing our solid waste going to landfill

– Reducing our water usage

– Keeping our electricity usage as low as possible

We offer end of life cable and spool returns to our customers
and also purchase and repurpose second hand plastic and timber cable drums

Going paperless
We have implemented digital solutions across our head office, sales offices and manufacturing
facility with plans to roll out further by 2030
